BACK CRAWL | WORKSHOP | Sun. July 31, 10:00 a.m.
Course period 31 July 10:00 hrs
In this workshop you will learn to perform the back crawl according to the Shaw Method, so in a streamlined way that is good for your neck and back. The workshop is suitable for people who have already learned to swim the front crawl at Swim in Balance or for new students.
Currently the location where we give open water courses Spaarnwoude (near Haarlem), behind the Fletcher hotel. The water quality is good there, you can stand there and there is a comfortable jetty to get in and out of the water. There are also changing rooms, toilets and showers available, and a restaurant to eat something before or after your lesson. We have wetsuits in all sizes to borrow that you can use during the course, so you don't have to buy anything and can first see if open water is something for you. In the spring and autumn, swimming in a wetsuit is more pleasant. In the summer this is not necessary for most people.
Swim in Balance founder Esther Visser will give this workshop herself and is looking forward to teaching you the technique.
Maximum number of participants: 12 people
Location: Fletcher Hotel, Spaarnwoude. You can borrow wetsuits during the workshop if you think it's cool. Showers and toilets are available.
